Family Support Professionals

We run all our projects in collaboration with family support professionals in Luton schools, nurseries and other organisations.

Partnership working is at the heart of everything we do and we are very grateful to have such fantastic ‘Link Workers’ in settings across Luton. They help to connect us with children and families who need help with the cost of school.

Link Workers have an incredible amount of knowledge and energy and we rely on them to identify and signpost families to our services. Link Workers network and share information and best practice. Their close ties also help us to understand the current picture of child poverty in Luton, and to use their experiences and knowledge to adapt our services to meet the needs of Luton’s diverse community. Working together in this way means we are all able to have a bigger impact.

We run regular meetings and an annual Child Poverty Conference for Link Workers to share information and ideas that will improve family work across the town. Have a look at the video below of our 2023 conference.
